The role 

We are looking for a detail-oriented R2R Specialist to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our accounting team in Customs Support Group.

To be successful in the role, you should have a solid working knowledge in accounting standards. An outstanding candidate should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organised, able to work with little supervision and perform under pressure.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and variance analysis. 

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure accurate month-end close 

  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial standards and internal controls 

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly forecasts and annual budgets 

  • Analyse historical trends and provide insights to support forecast accuracy 

  • Ad hoc financial analysis to support management decision making 

  • Supporting the production of statutory accounts 

  • Supporting the audit process and manage external auditor requirements 

  • Producing supplementary KPIs 

Requirements: 

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) 

  • Proven experience in a management accounting or similar finance role 

  • Strong Excel skills; experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferable) 

  • Ability to interpret financial data 

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 

  • Ability to prioritise own workload 

  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal 

  • English knowledge – advanced (min. B2) level

  • Must be residing in Poland.
