The role 

We are looking for a detail-oriented R2R Specialist to perform and coordinate accounting duties within our accounting team for the Dutch operations of Customs Support Group.

To be successful in the role, you should have a solid working knowledge in accounting standards. An outstanding candidate should also possess strong Excel skills, be detail-oriented, highly organised, able to work with little supervision and perform under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Maintaining, bookkeeping and reconciling balance sheet and general ledger accounts

• Responsible for the monthly closing of several Dutch legal entities

• Assisting with annual audit preparations

• Investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies, issues of non-compliance

• Contributing to the development of new or amended accounting processes and procedures

• Performing other accounting duties and supporting colleagues in the O2C and P2P teams

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance – required

• 4+years of accounting experience

• Working knowledge of (Dutch) GAAP

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Ability to work with little supervision in dynamic environment

• Strong Excel skills - required

• Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics system / AFAS – nice to have

• English knowledge – advanced (min. B2) level. Dutch language skills are a nice to have

• Must be residing in Poland.
