Our office is located on Norra Gubberogatan in Gothenburg, and we currently have 30 employees. We maintain close relationships with our clients and are known for being flexible and reliable — a strength when developing customized solutions for our customers.

About the Position 

Our current Export Manager is moving on to new opportunities, and we are now seeking a replacement. In this role, you will work hands‑on in our daily export operations while guiding the team in their day‑to‑day tasks to ensure smooth and efficient delivery flows. You will have regular customer contact, managing follow‑ups and ensuring high service levels throughout the process. You will also handle essential leadership responsibilities such as scheduling, supporting recruitment activities, and conducting performance and salary discussions—though the clear focus of the role is operational execution and continuous improvement. In addition, you will play a key part in developing our import operations and contributing directly to the operational work within both areas.

Requirements — Who Are You? 

We are looking for someone with proven leadership experience who enjoys working in a fastpaced environment. Several years of customs experience — particularly within export — is highly beneficial. 

The position requires strong skills in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. You should be comfortable working with computers and able to quickly learn new IT systems. Skills in Excel are considered an advantage. 

We are looking for someone who is positive, social, and skilled at building strong relationships. You should enjoy working closely with both customers and colleagues. You are efficient, able to handle periods of high workload with daily deadlines, and you bring curiosity, drive, and a strong willingness to learn and develop. Analytical ability and strong numerical skills are also highly valued. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate daily operations within the export department to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.

  • Monitor team performance, conduct regular check-ins, and escalate operational or customer-related issues when necessary.

  • Implement and continuously improve workflows, processes, and system solutions in cooperation with key stakeholders.

  • Ensure proper documentation of procedures and compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.

  • Manage staffing, including workforce planning, recruitment support, onboarding, and training development.

  • Handle employee administration, including leave management, time reporting, performance reviews, and salary review support.

  • Maintain responsibility for departmental systems, configurations, and user access in coordination with providers.

  • Uphold customs compliance, support the team in customs matters, and handle contact with customs authorities.

The position is fulltime with working hours between 07:00–17:00 Monday to Friday, and occasional oncall duty during evenings and weekends.
