We are expanding! We are seeking Customs Clearance Declarants to work in an exciting role within the Waterford branch of a leading European Customs Broker ‘Customs Support Group’. Located in Waterford Airport Business Park.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. There is plenty of variety as we handle customers from a broad range of industries.

As part of a European network of customs agencies there is opportunity for progression for those with initiative and enthusiasm.
Customs experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

Duties and Responsibilities to include;

• Run all activities associated with processing customs documentation to include reviewing documentation received for accuracy and completeness

• Ensure compliance with company procedures and all relevant government agencies including Revenue

• Communicate with Port & Revenue authorities as required

• Communicate with customers and other supply chain partners involved as required

• Process all data entry requirements ensuring that they are completed correctly and on time

• General administration

The candidate must have;

• Strong attention to detail

• Adept in Technology - MS Office

• Good verbal & written communication.

• Ability to work well in a team environment.

• Customer focused.

• Strong organisational skills, prioritising workloads, and deadlines

• Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.

• Open to working flexible hours if required.
