Responsibilities:

  • Tariffing and classification of goods (merchandise) based on technical parameters and in accordance with legal requirements

  • Assessment of export projects taking into account applicable customs regulations

  • Legislation and preparation of the corresponding export documents

  • Review of business partners with regard to compliance with sanctions lists

  • Application for and administration of export licences at the Federal Office of Economics and Export Control (BAFA)

  • Documentation, coordination and control of trade compliance-relevant processes in the company

  • Creation of technical requirements for the IT system landscape (in particular SAP GTS)

  • Optimisation and support of an IT-supported classification system for the accurate allocation of foreign trade master data

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified vocational training in the commercial / forwarding sector

  • Adequate professional experience, preferably in the field of customs clearance

  • You make use of your good IT skills (users) on a daily basis

  • You are characterised by your confident appearance and pleasant manners

  • You know how to keep calm in hectic times and prioritise correctly

  • You are a team player, able to work under pressure and are used to working independently, accurately and on your own responsibility

  • You have a good command of written and spoken German, knowledge of foreign languages is an

  • advantage

Requirements: 

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in tariffing and export control

  • Strong understanding of customs regulations and compliance

  • Proficiency in using tariff classification software

  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Must be residing in Poland
