Job description

We are seeking Customs Clearance Declarants to work in an exciting role with Customs Support Group - IE.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. There is plenty of variety as we handle customers from a broad range of industries.

As part of a European network of customs agencies there is opportunity for progression for those with initiative and enthusiasm.

Duties and Responsibilities to include;

·       Run all activities associated with processing customs documentation to include reviewing documentation received for accuracy and completeness

·       Ensure compliance with company procedures and all relevant government agencies including Irish Revenue & HMRC

·       Communicate with Port & Revenue authorities as required

·       Communicate with customers and other supply chain partners involved as required

·       Process all data entry requirements ensuring that they are completed correctly and on time

·       Staying up to date with changing customs regulations and implementing digital solutions to enhance compliance

·       Collaborating with the Customs teams in Europe.

·       General administration

Job requirements

·       Business-level proficiency in English and at least communicative knowledge of another European language (German/Dutch/Spanish, etc.)

·       Customs knowledge desirable (not essential as full training will be given)

·       Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to digital workflows

·       Adept in Technology

·       Good verbal & written communication.

·       Ability to work well on your own initiative in a fast-paced environment..

·       Customer focused.

·       Strong organisational skills, prioritising workloads, and deadlines

·       Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a cross-border team

·       Willingness to travel within Europe occasionally and open to working flexible hours if required.
